Cafe Compose in Annapolis Royal

I've eaten there twice now and both times was extreamly impressed with both the service and the food.

After having lived in Europe for quite a few years I was dying for a good schnitzel and their parmesan schinitzel is to die for! A crunchy out coating with a wonderful cheese flavor and tender juicy meat inside, and a HUGE portion along with seasonal veggies.

Before the meal you get a little plate of breads with a cottage type cheese mixture which is a lovely start to the meal.

Their deserts are to die for..their linzer torte left me wanting more!

I agree this is a great place to eat while in Annapolis Royal. The gourmet cuisine includes a wide range of delicious dishes which incorporate local products where possible. I hear they serve the best cafe latte and cappuccino around. They also have a good range of local wines on their menu.

The staff have always been friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere. You will find the Cafe Compose on St George Street in the centre of Annapolis Royal.
