The End Of The Line Pub & Restaurant

The End of the Line Pub & Restaurant, Bridgetown, NS The End of the Line Pub & Restaurant, also called "The Station" is located at 73 Queen Street in Bridgetown, Nova Scotia. The building is the former Dominion Atlantic Railroad Station which was built in 1919 but was closed with the ending of rail travel in this area. In 1994 the land was sold and after extensive renovations the building was transformed into a great reminder of days gone by. The whole station is full of pictures and other memorabilia from the days when the trains ran through here. The look and feel of the old train station has been kept and it is not hard to tell where everything used to be when the trains stopped here. However the inside is very clean and cozy and just portrays a relaxing atmosphere. Not only is the atmosphere great here but the food is good also. They serve a good variety of seafood and other Canadian dishes and always with a smile. My friends Karen & Gene have gone to eat there often, they love it. They said they have tried several dishes and all of them were delicious. They really like going there just after the supper rush and end up staying on for a quiet drink together after. I have only eaten there a couple times for their supper menu. I love the atmosphere there and I found the prices were not bad but I found the food although good, was nothing special. I was, however very impressed with their lunch menu and food. They had a good selection, good specials and the food was great. I would recommend the End of the Line Pub & Restaurant in Bridgetown, especially for lunch.   Did you realize that you can get great restaurant reviews also at TripAdvisor?
