Gullivers Retreat

Gullivers Retreat is a tastefully decorated bungalow that host one of the finest views that Nova Scotia has to offer.

Gullivers Retreat is located in Gullivers Cove which is rich in heritage, the Loyalists settled in this area over 200 years ago. Once a small farming and fishing village, Gullivers Cove is now home to several small businesses such as a Dulse company, local run fish plant, Emu Farm & greenhouses to name a few. The local residents are warm and welcoming to all who come to visit.

During your stay at Gullivers Retreat you are welcome to take a stroll along one of the nearby rocky beaches, You might just come across a small treasure or some sea glass washed up by the tide. Or you can watch one of the local lobster or scallop boats passing by or catch a glimpse of one of our many whales, seals and porpoises living in and around the Cove.

Come experience the soothing sounds of the ocean. Feel refreshed as you breathe in the clean salt air. Relax as you step away from life’s everyday stresses. Make this holiday one you’ll want to re-visit time and time again.

Gullivers Retreat is fully furnished with 4 piece bath, full size kitchen with all appliances you will need. Dining room , living room , bedrooms Including TV ,VCR, phone, board games, alarm clocks and BBQ.

To reserve your summer getaway at Gullivers Retreat simply fill out the booking form below. Please make sure all required fields are completed in full to ensure proper processing. Expect a response to your booking request within 24 hours of receiving the reservation form. If a specific accommodation date is not available, alternate dates will be offered.

It should be noted that 30% deposit is required to hold any reservation. For deposit payments, Gullivers Retreat accepts Visa and MasterCard credit cards, money orders and personal cheques (personal cheque deposits accepted if received no later than two weeks prior to arrival). On arrival unwind with cheese, crackers and wine. In the morning a breakfast basket with a variety of goods. Then explore Digby Neck as you adventure for a whale watching tour with Petit Passage. The next morning enjoy another breakfast basket before you depart.

Unwind with a fruit tray and soft drinks; in the morning enjoy a deluxe breakfast of eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast cooked by you at your convenience, and off you go to a fun filled day to upper Clements Theme Park.
The next morning enjoy a breakfast basket with a variety of goods and off you go for a fun filled day to Upper Clements Wildlife Park.
On your last day enjoy a breakfast basket and take a stroll along our rocky beach and perhaps find an agate to take home with you.

On arrival enjoy a cracker and seafood dip tray with wine. In the evening take a walk along our shoreline and enjoy the soothing sounds of the Bay of Fundy. The next morning enjoy a deluxe breakfast of eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast, tea and coffee prepared by you at your convenience. Then tour Digby Neck and Islands.
Then enjoy a leisurely lunch at Petit Passage Cafe. On your last morning enjoy a breakfast basket before you depart.

July 20-26, 2007 - What a beautiful spot! We had a fabulous time hunting rocks and exploring the cove. The boys became soooo brave climbing rocks. We missed the whales in the cove but saw some seals. The whale tour out of Petites Passage turned out to be more that amazing-Thanks for recommending that tour. The guys were great but the whales-they put on an unbelievable show. Awesome vacation here in Gulliver’s Cove. We will be recommending this piece of heaven.

August 3, 2008 - Thank you so much Wanda & Calvin for a wonderful week. You offer so much more here than a beautiful cottage in a secluded cove…You provide an experience. All the amusement parks anywhere in the world are the same, but nothing compares to the variety of activities and experiences available to a family right here in Gulliver’s Cove. I guarantee we will always remember our beach bonfire for the excellent company, the smores, and the trip home that night! You have a great piece of heaven right here and we will definitely return.
