Trans Canada Trail in Annapolis County
The Trans Canada Trail travels east to west through Annapolis County as it follows the old line of the Dominion Atlantic Railway. This is a multi-use trail open to walking, hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and in some parts ATVs. It passes through many of the towns and villages like Middleton, Lawrencetown, Paradise, Annapolis Royal and Cornwallis Park. As it also follows closely to either the #1 or the #201 highways there are several points you may access the trail. Along the way you will behold beautiful farmland, woods, streams and catch several extraordinary glimpses of the Annapolis River. Every season is something different to behold from frosty trees, apple blossoms, fields of flowers and colourful leaves. Although parts of it is in use now, it has not been fully developed as of yet. This is in the plans for the near future. Not all bridges are in or safe so great care is to be taken. Do not cross any bridge that has been blocked off.      | Do you have a favorite part of this trail through Annapolis County?
